Investigation Services
We serve as neutral, external investigators for institutions across the country. We have a team of dedicated attorney investigators with experience investigating all types of misconduct for institutions. Our team draws on our variety of employment and education law backgrounds, our extensive training conducting trauma-informed and equitable investigations, and our deep knowledge of the laws, guidance, and best practices in the subject matters we investigate. We are committed to objectively gathering evidence and delivering clear and comprehensive findings to clients in order to enable sound decision-making.
We have a team of highly trained and experienced hearing officers to conduct campus disciplinary hearings. Our team has served in virtually every role in the Title IX adjudication process. We regularly serve as hearing officers, decision-makers, and appeal officers.
We offer advising services services to institutions on Title IX, sexual misconduct and civil rights issues. We review institutional policies and processes to provide specific and comprehensive recommendations to encourage reporting and improve response. As a result, we understand how to oversee a compliant hearing process, maintain a respectful decorum among hearing participants, make relevance and credibility determinations, and render well-reasoned trauma-informed decisions.

Interim Services
Our attorneys are uniquely positioned to seamlessly step into interim roles, including interim Title IX coordinator roles. Each of our attorneys has years of specialized experience in investigations and resolutions, with many of our attorneys coming to Aleta directly from institutional positions in Title IX and Equal Opportunity offices across the country. Our specialized experience allows us to step into a wide variety of interim positions smoothly and efficiently, minimizing institutional stress while organizations work to find the right permanent fit for the position.
Consulting & Training
We offer consulting, advising and training services to institutions on Title IX, sexual misconduct and civil rights issues. We review institutional policies and processes to provide specific and comprehensive recommendations to encourage reporting and improve response. We draft policies, procedures, and protocols to enhance safety and reduce risk. Our team also assists institutions in creating their workplace code of conduct and student code of conduct handbooks.
